Global Gaming launches NanoCasino in Sweden

With the launch of Nanocasino.com, Global Gaming has returned to Sweden nearly two months after its local license was revoked for serious deficiencies in its anti-money laundering and KYC practices.

Last month the company announced a partnership with Scandinavian online gambling content and platform provider Finnplay. The first product of that partnership went live this week in Sweden, while gambling group’s flagship NinjaCasino brand remains “indefinitely suspended” by Swedish regulator Spelinspektionen, after its operating company SafeEnt was charged with multiple  Anti-money laundering (AML) and care-of-duty failures.

NanoCasino has been launched under Finnplay subsidiary Viral Interactive’s Swedish license. As the license holder, Viral Interactive is fully responsible for the operation of the new brand. A subsidiary of Global Gaming participates in the venture as its marketing partner.

“It is incredibly exciting that Viral is now launching NanoCasino.com with us as a partner; I hope, and have reason to believe, that Swedish customers will enjoy it. NanoCasino is a safe and secure online casino that focuses on entertainment and the pleasure of gaming, and it’s being offered from one of the market’s best, safest and most responsible platforms,” said Global Gaming chief executive Tobias Fagerlund.

Global Gaming and Finnplay have disclosed that the NanoCasino.com partnership could extend beyond Sweden, as operating vehicle Viral Interactive maintains an approved licensing status for the markets of the UK, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Denmark, Estonia, and Mexico.
