Malta-based games developer Hacksaw Gaming has been granted regulatory approval to launch in the United Kingdom by the UK Gambling Commision (UKGC).
The supplier license allows Hacksaw to offer its innovative scratchcards to UK players for the first time. The company currently has 27 of them in its offer.
“This is a huge step for us as a company, the Gambling Commission is known to have strict regulations to comply with so having the license granted to us represents a significant milestone,” Marcus Cordes, chief operating officer at Hacksaw Gaming said.
Hacksaw has also recently announced the release of its first slot game titled Stick ‘Em!, with the retro-themed slot launched last month to all of the firm’s partners.
Hacksaw Gaming has seen huge growth since the launch in September 2018 and hopes to become one of the fastest-growing names in the industry over the next few years.
“In just under a year we have managed to secure both MGA and UKGC licenses and this is just the start. Our sales team will now be focusing on branching out to UK based customers and gaining as much exposure as possible to reach as many players across the country,” explained Cordes.
