Kindred Group-owned Unibet has followed up its New Jersey debut with a move into the Pennsylvania sports betting market. The sportsbook went live in the state through a partnership with Mohegan Sun Pocono.
The new Mohegan Sun Pocono sportsbook will initially only be running as a land-based service, with sports betting and casino online offering available via Apple and Android mobile devices to follow later this year.
“We are excited and proud to partner with Mohegan Sun Pocono to welcome patrons to our new sportsbook and offer a great extension to our online product in one of the largest states to regulate both online sports betting and casino,” stated Manuel Stan, Senior-Vice President of Kindred US.
Betting offerings to start will include NFL, NCAA, NHL, NBA, PGA, professional tennis, boxing, UFC, rugby, NASCAR, MLS, Premier League Soccer, La Liga and Bundesliga.
“We’ve aligned with one of the world’s best online casino and sportsbook operators in online regulated markets, which will allow us to offer a best in class experience to our current clients and attract new fans. Introduction of the Unibet offering to the market is a great positive for Mohegan Sun, as well as the State of Pennsylvania,” added
Aviram Alroy, Vice President of Interactive Gaming at Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment.
In early September, The Kindred Group rolled out in New Jersey its first US-facing sportsbook in cooperation with Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.Follow us on
