MGA revoked CenturionBet license

Malta Gaming Authority (Malta Gaming Authority) announced the suspension of the license for gambling of the operator CenturionBet.

CenturionBet has a bad name in the Apennines. Law enforcement agencies during the investigation revealed that the owner of the business is Francesco Martiradonna, who is affiliated with the Sacra Corona Unita criminal syndicate. In October 2016, lawyers of the Martiradon family denied any connection with the CenturionBet business.

During a recent operation to combat the mafia, which the Italian authorities christened “Johnny”, CenturionBet was associated with the criminal syndicate Ndrangheta. According to the authorities, Ndrangheta with the help of CenturionBet was enriched by € 1.3 million.
