The Swedish operator Mr Green has been given the green light to start offering sports betting in Denmark.
Mr Green received its Danish casino license at the end of December 2017. The company’s casino has grown quickly in Denmark, and Mr Green’s Sportsbook will shortly be introduced in Denmark. Alongside its Mr Green brand, MRG also operates the Bingosjov.dk and Bingoslottet.dk sites in Denmark.
“It’s great that we now can introduce our strong Sportsbook offering also in Denmark,” – laconically reported Per Norman, CEO of MRG.
MRG is also applying for a Swedish online gambling license, after passage of Swedish legislation that opens the country to international gambling operators beginning in 2019. The licenses will be valid for five years and require an 18% tax on revenue to be paid.
