Casino operator Pinnacle Entertainment has announced that its Ameristar Casino Hotel is to join the busy Mississippi sports betting market.
Opening End Zone sportsbook at the venue marks the first time Pinnacle has launched a sports betting offering outside of Nevada, where it takes bets at its Cactus Petes property. The End Zone in Ameristar Vicksburg features four service windows through which staff take customers’ wagers, as well as a dedicated viewing space with large-screen TVs.
The End Zone will also offer a selection of sporting events on large-screen TVs, the area’s largest high-definition television for featured sporting events, an expansive menu of draft beers, and a full-service ‘tailgate’ dining experience.
Pinnacle is to be acquired by Penn National Gaming later this year, with expectations placing the completion of the deal in the fourth quarter.
