Playtech acquires ACM Group for $ 150 Million

The software developer Playtech announced the acquisition of technologies, intellectual property and client assets of the brand ACM Group. The entire transaction is estimated at $ 150 million, and the purchase itself will take place in several stages.

Initially Playtech will make a down payment of $ 5 million, then deductions will be made based on EBITDA in the current and next years. The transaction will be completed in 2019 minus the first payments.

Under the terms of the sale, the ACM team (better known as Alpha) will join the TradeTech group. TradeTech Alpha will be created to provide customized solutions for risk management and trading solutions for B2B customers. The financial unit of Playtech will be renamed TradeTech Group.
