Sportradar teamed up with BetChicago

The well-known provider of sports statistics Sportradar has concluded another partner agreement with the leading Illinois brand BetChicago.

Under the terms of agreement, various Sportradar media products have been integrated with the newly launched site, available at BetChicago.com, designed to drive forward its sports betting media content with its sports data and content solutions. If sports gambling becomes legal in Illinois, Sportradar will provide risk management and data services to BetChicago.

However, Illinois is unlikely to legalize sports bets this year, as a number of bills are under consideration, and Senator Napoleon Harris, the sponsor of one of them and the former NFL midfielder, recently said: “In my opinion, no one doubts that Illinois is going to approve the law, allowing to legally bet on sports events, it’s just a matter of time”.

“This partnership shows that Sportradar not only seeks to work with major partners in the US, but also identifies new market participants that we believe we can support and develop with the help of our systems,” – said Neil Dili, vice president of sales games in Sportradar.
