NASCAR and Genius Sports, the global leader in sports data solutions, has announced a landmark deal that will see Genius Sports develop an official NASCAR gaming offering for legal sportsbooks.
Under the agreement, Genius will use NASCAR’s data and build a system for sportsbooks to increase the number bet types offered in the marketplace, which should include live betting.
The deal, the first of its kind for NASCAR in the US market, will also establish Genius become the exclusive provider of NASCAR data to licensed sportsbooks around the world. Genius has a similar deal in place with the National Basketball Association (NBA) in the US.

The deal with Genius Sports comes after NASCAR introduced a new sports gambling policy ahead of the 2019 season, enabling all of its teams and tracks to sell marketing sponsorships to sports betting companies and licensed sportsbooks. As part of the new policy, NASCAR agreed last year to a multi-year partnership with Sportradar’s Integrity Services, a leading supplier of sports betting-related monitoring, education, investigation and consultancy services.
