Betway renews partnership with West Ham United

Online gambling operator Betway has extended its sponsorship deal with English Premier League football club West Ham United and will remain the Club’s principal partner for a further six years.

The agreement represents a record partnership for both parties and will run until 2025. The new deal exceeds the contract Betway previously signed with the Premier League club in 2015 and then extended in 2016 through 2020. The first year of that deal was worth £6 million, but the extension saw West Ham earn £10 million a season.

Betway will also continue to benefit from branding placement on the front of players’ jerseys, as well as on all adult replica shirts. Fan engagement initiatives such as the Betway Academy, Betway Fan Taxi and West Ham Supermarket Sweep will also continue throughout the course of the extended agreement.

“They are a club with one of the most passionate fanbases in the game. Our partnership with West Ham United has been a huge success over the past four years and we are proud to be extending it by another six. We are delighted to be continuing our partnership with the club,” said Anthony Werkman, Betway chief executive.
