Playtech and GVC team up for Elevation launch

Leading software provider Playtech has entered into a new partnership with GVC Holdings, the owner of Bwin and Ladbrokes, to launch Elevation, a new, dedicated live casino studio for the operator.

The studio will launch with GVC’s brands over the next two months offering five blackjack tables and a roulette wheel studio, backed by a major marketing campaign.

The games will be played against a backdrop of a video wall featuring a backdrop of a city skyline, which Playtech claims will create a “truly visual spectacle” for players.

“As the parent company behind some of the most iconic brands in online gambling, GVC has been a key partner for us for many years, and we’re delighted to be extending that partnership with the development of Elevation,” stated Playtech chief operating officer Shimon Akad.

“Significant investment has gone into delivering the first stage of the Elevation studio and we’re delighted with the results. Playtech’s track record and experience in delivering innovative live casino technology and content is unsurpassed,” added Akad’s counterpart at GVC, Shay Segev.

The launch of the dedicated Live Casino space is part of the new long-term agreement that Playtech and GVC signed this past February. Under the deal, Playtech has agreed to supply technology and content across GVC’s gaming and sports betting brands.
