BetFan, which launched its online presence in late Apil, wants to be in a top five position for licensed online bookmakers in Poland. The company has set a target of “three to four years” to reach it.
The Betfan.pl website was launched on April 26, six months after the operator was added to the official list of locally licensed sports betting operators by Poland’s Ministry of Finance.
The website has four main subpages: pre-match bets, live bets, esport and entertainment. The Warsaw-based operator plans to offer up to 1.5 million different bets each month. The new operator claims to be the “only firm in Poland” offering such a wide range of bets on entertainment, politics, showbiz, economics and even the weather.
“We want to become the sportsbook of the 21st century on the Polish market,” said BetFan CEO Piotr Sienkiewicz, who previously worked at two other Polish bookmakers: forBET and Totolotek.
“We want to change the perception of bookmaker bets. Therefore, we are not focusing solely on just sporting events and their results, we look closely to the surroundings and we try to offer our fans a variety of bets matching their various interests,” added Sienkiewicz.
Poland’s official list of locally licensed sports betting operators currently consists of twelve companies, with ten of them having an online presence at the moment.Follow us on
