Bwin back as Valencia CF sponsor

Online gaming operator Bwin has agreed a deal to become the main sponsor of Spanish LaLiga football club Valencia. GVC Holdings-owned company has previously worked with ‘Los Ches’ during 2016/2017 season as official gaming and betting partner.

The three-year agreement will run from the 2019-20 season until the end of the 2021-22 campaign, with Bwin to also serve as the team’s main global partner. According to Spanish media, the deal is worth 4,8m euro per season for the club which won last season edition of Spanish Cup and finished 4th in LaLiga.

Bwin branding will feature on the front of the team’s official match and training shirts. The deal includes both the Valencia first team and VCF Mestalla reserve team in all domestic and European competitions. Bwin is also expected to secure the highest visibility across the club’s Mestalla Stadium (capacity 55,000) and training ground facilities.

“Bwin is a leader in its sector, renowned for its technological innovation, transparency and dynamism. Valencia CF shares these virtues and are convinced that strengthening this alliance will be something tremendously beneficial for both parties, we hope to make history together,” said Valencia President Anil Murthy.

Earlier this week, Valencia’s LaLiga rival Sevilla also signed a shirt sponsorship deal with Marathonbet.
