Macau Hosts Record-Breaking G2E Asia 2026 with 8,000+ Attendees

The upcoming G2E Asia 2026 and Asian IR Expo are expected to draw over 8,000 visitors to The Venetian Macao in Cotai, representing a 33.3% increase from last year’s 6,000 attendees. Organizer RX shared this estimate during a recent briefing, highlighting the growing interest in non-gaming topics within the integrated resort sector.

Vera Ng, Project Director at RX, noted that attendees are increasingly focused on the broader content offered by integrated resorts, rather than just the casino floor. This year’s event will feature the 17th edition of G2E Asia, running from 12-14 May, alongside the debut of the Asian IR Expo. Together, the exhibitions will cover over 30,000 square meters and host more than 150 exhibitors, providing a comprehensive platform for industry professionals.

A three-day conference program will accompany the exhibitions, featuring over 30 sessions and 50 speakers. The theme for this year’s conference revolves around digital innovation and diversification into non-gaming products, with discussions on artificial intelligence, robotics, and sports entertainment. Yip Je Choong, RX’s Senior Vice President Commercial for Asia Pacific, emphasized the organizers’ commitment to delivering value, stating, ‘We know there are other events coming up, but we want to ensure that we provide value.’

RX’s strategy focuses on improving the attendee experience and ensuring strong returns on investment. By incorporating both gaming and non-gaming aspects, the exhibition remains relevant to a diverse audience, including resort designers and entertainers. With expanded visitor numbers and exhibition space, this year’s event is poised to be a major gathering for the iGaming and integrated resort industry.
