Malta-based casino games supplier Pragmatic Play has unveiled the latest strand of its global expansion strategy, after entering “a significant commercial agreement” with a Spanish gambling powerhouse Codere.
Pragmatic’s slots have gone live with Codere in Mexico, including titles such as John Hunter and the Aztec Treasure, Mustang Gold, Sweet Bonanza and Wolf Gold. The rollout in Colombia is expected to follow shortly thanks to a local agreement with sportsbook operator Wplay.co.
“We’re delighted to have signed this agreement with Codere, who are one of the largest operators in Spain and Latin America. We are always looking to develop in regulated markets and are excited to further expand into these promising territories,” said Pragmatic Play chief business development officer Yossi Barzely.
“Pragmatic Play has a reputation for delivering top-tier casino content, and we are thrilled to be able to offer its portfolio to our customers. Innovative content is always important, and Pragmatic Play consistently push the boundaries of innovation with incredible outcomes. We look forward to a long and fruitful partnership with them,” added Codere product department manager Erez Leket.
Pragmatic Plays has recently ventured into the live casino segment. Aside from its new live casino product, it has also gone live with bingo offering to tap into yet another lucrative market. In addition to Codere, 1xBet and Interwetten have been some of the major online gambling operators to opt for the company’s new live casino in recent months.
