SiGMA Poker Tour Brazil Wraps Up with $200K+ Prize Pool

The SiGMA Poker Tour Brazil 2026 has drawn to a close in São Paulo, marking the final act before the grand stage of BiS SiGMA South America, the continent’s largest iGaming event. Running from April 3-6, the tournament captivated audiences with intense competition and a substantial R$1 million prize pool, drawing together poker professionals, industry insiders, and passionate players.

The event not only delivered high-stakes poker action but also served as a premier networking hub, allowing key decision-makers to engage in meaningful discussions in a collaborative environment. As players advanced into the money stages, the tournament took on a more strategic tone. The pressure of real financial rewards led to a shift from instinctive plays to methodical analysis, with participants carefully evaluating chip stacks, opponent behavior, and long-term survival strategies.

By the later stages, a handful of players emerged as clear leaders. Marcos Henrique da Silva topped the chip leaderboard with 1,553,000 chips, followed by Helton Richard with 1,460,000 chips and Jonatas Roger Freitas in third place with 932,500 chips. Competitive mid-tier players included André Leão (753,000 chips), Andres Coppini (743,500 chips), and Drea Karlsen (560,000 chips). Meanwhile, players at the bottom of the leaderboard focused intently on survival, making every decision with calculated precision.

Running concurrently with the main tournament, the SiGMA Divas event celebrated the growing presence of women in poker. With 82 participants, the competition awarded Daniela Candido Prestes the top prize of R$7,000 and a spot at the SiGMA Poker Tour Mexico. Anna Catrin María secured second place with R$5,000, and Cristiane Ferreira Santos took third with R$3,500, underscoring the event’s commitment to fostering diversity and talent within the poker community.

With the poker tour now complete, attention turns to BiS SiGMA South America, which opens its doors with a comprehensive business program at the Transamérica Expo Center. The event will feature industry-leading conferences, exhibitor presentations, and extensive networking opportunities, solidifying its position as the premier gathering for iGaming professionals in Latin America.
