DATA.BET Introduces In-Stream Betting Feature

DATA.BET has unveiled its new in-stream betting overlay, a feature that enables users to place bets directly within a mobile live stream without exiting the broadcast. The overlay includes markets, odds, and the bet slip, all accessible within the stream itself.

The feature is tailored to meet the increasing demand for mobile betting, as mobile devices now dominate the betting landscape. Users can activate or deactivate the overlay on-demand, providing a flexible and user-friendly experience.

DATA.BET states that the in-stream betting solution is designed to minimize user drop-off during live events by removing the need to navigate away from the stream. This approach is expected to enhance engagement, retention, session duration, and overall player lifetime value.

The company highlights that the in-stream betting feature integrates at the frontend level, requiring no backend changes. It is currently available upon request from clients.

The in-stream betting feature is debuting with virtual sports, with plans to expand into other betting categories in the future. “In-Stream Betting is designed to meet players where their attention already is — inside the broadcast,” said Rostyslav Likhtin, Head of Product at DATA.BET. “For our clients, this means an additional engagement layer that is easy to implement but delivers real results in terms of retention and player satisfaction. Having everything on one screen cuts the time it takes to place a bet, and that kind of frictionless experience is exactly what builds long-term player loyalty toward the operator.”

This new feature represents a significant advancement in live betting technology, particularly for mobile users seeking a streamlined and efficient betting experience.
