With only a few hours until the first whistle, we take a look at odds for Saturday’s Champions League final between Liverpool and Tottenham. Liverpool is the clear favourite to lift the trophy.
The Reds are priced at 1.50 to win Europe’s biggest prize for the sixth time in their history. If someone decides to back Merseyside’s team to win in regulation time, odds are slightly under evens (1.85-1.95).
Tottenham is seen as the outsider to land the trophy. North Londoners are tipped at 2.75 to inflict more heartbreak on Jurgen Klopp, who has lost his last three final matches in European competitions. Odds for Tottenham winning in regulation time are around 4.25.
Liverpool is also backed strongly to open the scoring at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium with Mohamed Salah the favourite to net the first goal at a price of 5.0 and his forward partner Sadio Mane available at 5.5.
Tottenham’s best chance of opening the scoring seems to be team’s captain Harry Kane. Despite not playing since April 9 because of the ankle injury and still 100% guaranteed to start the match he is 6.50 to score the first goal. Korean Son Heung-min priced at 11.0 is considered as the second scoring option for Mauricio Pochettino’s team.
All-English final in Madrid will start at 21.00 CET.
